As the medical director of MD Weight Loss and Spa, my main goal is to provide an outstanding patient care using the most up to date techniques. Weight loss has been a passion, which first originated the start of my clinic. In my clinic in Rancho Bernardo, we have been tremendously successful in providing safe, effective, and long-lasting medical weight management results, based on the general principles of The American Society of Bariatric Physicians. I regularly attend board meetings for The Obesity Forum in which most recent findings are presented. Nutrition and obesity therapy have evolved into a science in and of themselves. With the recent novel findings of microbiome and gut flora playing a fundamental role in the development of obesity, our understanding of causes and implications of obesity are growing daily.
I hence find it imperative to stay abreast of the most recent findings in order to provide my patients with the most current and accurate medical care. I am also affiliated with American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine as well as American Academy of Laser Medicine and Surgery. I am credentialed as active status with Sharp and Scripps Medical Centers and Hospitals and have been awarded The Hospital Medicine Physician of the year for 2014.
